FRIGOALARM
approved emergency call for freezer rooms
The FRIGOALARM fulfils the following rules for accident prevention: German UVV -VGB 20 and the Swiss SUVA Form 1864 (VGB 20 § 14)
Required by law - emergency call for freezer rooms
As operators of a freezer room with temperatures under -10°C and with a surface area of over 20m² you are obligated to install an emergency call, over which persons can give alarm, who are in the freezing area included or by accident insured.
The German rules for the prevention of accidents in cold stores (Uvv-vbg20) prescribes the instalment of a FRIGOALARM compellingly.
To Switzerland nearly the same regulation (SUVA form 1864) applies.
The FRIGOALARM corresponds to both regulations.
An emergency opening device built in the freezing room door is no alternative of the FRIGOALARM.
